Civil Engineering Technician

Strickland Engineering, a multi-disciplinary engineering firm in Southeast Missouri, is seeking a civil engineering technician as part of our team for the design and construction of civil engineering projects

Duties include:

• Perform topographic surveys of engineering projects
• Prepare topographic base drawings from field survey data
• Assist engineers in plan preparation for civil engineering projects
• Construction inspection of civil engineering projects

Education:

• Associates Degree Civil Engineering Technology, preferred
• Vocational training or equivalent work experience, minimum

Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD is a must
• Familiar with Civil 3D or similar civil engineering software
• Knowledge of surveying and coordinate geometry
• Ability to operate MS Word and MS Excel
• General computer skills
• Ability to work outside on survey field crew when required
