Sikeston Board of Municipal Utilities

Dille & Traxel Architects were the Architects for this new 3-story facility which included public utility offices, board conference rooms, and support operations for all city utilities.

Strickland Engineering was the MPE Engineering Consultant for this new facility. HVAC systems included multiple high efficiency units with economizer cooling and automated zone controls. The plumbing design included foundation drainage and storm water drainage into the city sewer systems. The sprinkler system design included a fully automated wet pipe system connected to the city water main. The electrical service for the building is powered by city electric and included an automatic standby generator. Building lighting was designed using high efficiency fixtures and switching controls.
